Young Entrepreneurs - Youth Given Opportunities to Develop Small Businesses

There is a bit more money out there for local teenagers. Or at least for those with strong business ideas. Ponoka Outreach School was home to an agreement signing on Feb. 14 that could give local young entrepreneurs a head start in the business world.

Representatives from the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) attended the signing and spoke to the students. Jim Richardson, the BDC National Director of Aboriginal Banking, says many young people have good business ideas that need the chance to move forward past the planning stage.
