Small Business Survival Seminar Set for Sept. 29

The Louisville branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, the Louisville Enterprise Group and Louisville-Jefferson County Metro Government will present "Small-Business Survival: The Successes, The Hurdles, The Future" on Friday, Sept. 29.

The free program will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at the Nia Center, 2900 W. Broadway, in Louisville.

The keynote speaker will be Donna Salyers, president of Fabulous-Furs in Covington, Ky. The company was started in 1989 and now has $10 million in annual sales. Nordstrom stores will begin selling Fabulous-Furs products this fall.
