Eau Claire, Wis. — The Eau Claire Area Economic Development Corporation's annual business-plan contest is starting up again, offering cash awards of up to $10,000 to the best business ideas from Eau Claire County.

For interested entrepreneurs, the EDC is holding a business planning seminar on March 29. Then entrants in the Creating Your Own Business Contest will have until May 26 to prepare their applications.
